Introduction
The Like Button lets visitors react to a piece of content with a single tap, showing a heart icon and the live like count pulled from the UniSignIn API.
When a logged-in user taps the button, the liked state and count are updated immediately for instant feedback, then reconciled with the server response. If the request fails, the previous state is restored automatically.
When a logged-out visitor taps the button, the UniSignIn signup flow opens so they can authenticate and like the content without losing context.
The button renders on any container with data-exp="unisignin-like-button". Use data-element-id to identify the content being liked, and the optional data-color attribute to tint the liked state with your brand color.
