Data Exchange

Overview

Data Exchange moves user data between UniSignIn and your other systems. Use it to send registered users and their choices to your email platform or CRM, and to bring data from other systems into UniSignIn profiles.

Manage exchanges in Data Management → Data Exchange.

Export data

Send user data from UniSignIn to another system. Changes are sent when a user's data changes.

1. Click New and set Exchange Type to Export Data.
2. Choose the connected service, e.g. Mailchimp, Iterable or Echobox. Connect the service first in Connect.
3. Choose the Scope: ALL users, or only Email Subscribers, with the fields that record their subscription.
4. Map UniSignIn fields to the fields of the other system.
5. Turn on Enable and save.

You can also export Email Tracking links as fields, so your newsletters can track opens and clicks.

Import data

Bring data into UniSignIn profiles.

1. Click New and set Exchange Type to Import Data.
2. Choose the source, e.g. Google, Facebook or Twitter to copy profile details from social login, or another connected service.
3. Choose the field that identifies the user, e.g. email, and map the source fields to UniSignIn profile fields.
4. Turn on Enable and save.

Export to Amazon S3

Export user profiles to your own Amazon S3 bucket, for your data warehouse or analysis.

1. Go to Connect → Amazon S3.
2. Enter the Access Key, Secret Key, Region and Bucket, and the Path to write to. Add an Endpoint only for S3-compatible storage outside AWS.
3. Turn on Enable.

UniSignIn writes gzipped JSON Lines files named after your organization and the date, e.g. ORG_20260930.jsonl.gz, with one user profile per line.
