Quizzes

Overview

Quizzes ask readers a set of multiple-choice questions and show their score at the end, with the correct answer and an explanation for each question. Readers sign in to answer, which makes a quiz a simple way to turn casual readers into registered users.

You build quizzes in two steps: write the questions in a question bank, then create a Quiz experience that picks the questions to show.

Set up

1. Add questions

1. Go to Features → Quizzes and click New Quiz.
2. Choose the Project and enter the Question.
3. Choose the Type: General, or Business to link the question to a Profile Field.
4. Add the answers. Turn on Correct Answer for the right one. If no answer is marked correct, every answer counts as right, which suits opinion questions.
5. Add an optional Explanation, shown after the reader answers.
6. Keep Enable on and click Save Changes.

Your questions are listed under User Quizzes.

2. Or import questions from your articles

If your project is connected to SyncCMS, UniSignIn can suggest quiz questions from your articles. Open the AI Quizzes tab, click Import Quiz, choose the Project, select the articles and click Import. Imported questions are listed under AI Quizzes with a status of Draft or Live. Review each one before setting it live.

3. Create the quiz

1. Go to Audience Operation → Experience and click New Experience.
2. Choose Quiz and click Next Step.
3. Enter a Name and choose the Project.
4. Set the Quiz Title, and optionally a brand image and brand link for a sponsored quiz.
5. Choose the Questions from your question bank.
6. Turn on Enable Ad if you want ads at the top, at the bottom or between questions.
7. Click Save Changes.

Put it on your pages

Place the container where the quiz should appear:
